Hobbies: Running and 3 kids (and the non-stop travel that goes on for their sporting events), leaves little time for much else, but I do enjoy reading, doing things around my house, like decorating for the change of seasons and holidays (probably my only Pinterest-y side), binging Netflix and sleeping in late whenever possible

Thanks to Lou who reached out to me back in August and asked if I’d consider being WOTW. At the time I was injured and on something like my 12th week of zero running, so I asked if I could take a rain check until such date that I might feel like a runner again. He graciously obliged and so here we are!

What’s up guys! I’m kind of a newbie when it comes to running so my history is not very long. I have only done a handful of races. I started running about 4 years ago. When I started it I hated it because I have asthma getting my breathing under control was difficult, but I figured if my mother and sister can run with asthma so can I. The first couple of years of running I would go out and do about 3 to 4 miles, still struggling to breathe the entire time and I never ran in the winter.

I am a summer person, even though I’m born in February…. I love the beach….I am happiest on my lounge chair in the sun. I am blessed to have 2 sun loving friends who go on a tropical vacation with me every February mostly to celebrate my birthday, and I’ve just returned from the trip of a lifetime to Italy with Tom — It was a dream come true.
